Company History

OutdoorHeat was officially launched in 2018. While it may sound like a cliché, the business was founded by someone who was quite literally born into the industry—having grown up working in and building a successful family-run garden centre in Essex, which went on to become one of the most well-known in the county.

After the family sold the garden centre in 2017, the founder channelled years of experience into Urban Trading Ltd—OutdoorHeat’s trading company, specialising in bespoke garden design. OutdoorHeat itself was developed as a dedicated branch of the business focused solely on premium outdoor fireplaces.

The idea came after countless conversations with customers looking for simple yet effective ways to transform their outdoor space. The answer was always the same—an outdoor fireplace. Not only do they provide an eye-catching focal point, but they’re also practical and multi-functional. There’s nothing else that delivers as much impact and value for any type of garden or patio.
